Liza Kotar is an international researcher, who is currently preparing to research resilience for the Fulbright program in Moscow, Russia. She holds a Master of Science in Recreational Therapy, a Bachelor of Arts in Business, History and Literature and a certificate in Motivational Interviewing.

Before pursuing her career in coaching and research, Liza found that she wanted to help others become more resilient. She coordinated teams and developed curriculum to rebuild homes in the United States that were affected by natural disasters. Additionally, she focused on continuous improvement processes at Seattle Children’s Hospital before she completed her graduate degree.

She is interested in travel, international resilience development, and improving overall well-being. In her coaching, she takes a personal approach, focusing on incremental, realistic improvements. Liza’s home base is generally in Seattle, Washington where she loves to hike, cook (and eat) with friends and family, read about psychology and enjoy nature.
