Liza Kotar

Liza Kotar is an international researcher, who is currently preparing to research resilience for the Fulbright program in Moscow, Russia. She holds a Master of Science in Recreational Therapy, a Bachelor of Arts in Business, History and Literature and a certificate in Motivational Interviewing.

Before pursuing her career in coaching and research, Liza found that she wanted to help others become more resilient. She coordinated teams and developed curriculum to rebuild homes in the United States that were affected by natural disasters. Additionally, she focused on continuous improvement processes at Seattle Children’s Hospital before she completed her graduate degree.

She is interested in travel, international resilience development, and improving overall well-being. In her coaching, she takes a personal approach, focusing on incremental, realistic improvements. Liza’s home base is generally in Seattle, Washington where she loves to hike, cook (and eat) with friends and family, read about psychology and enjoy nature.

Renee Welch
Coach

Renee Welch, Ph.D. is an expert in leading ideation and development of high impact blended and online competency-based courses and programming. She utilizes design thinking methodology, resilience coaching techniques, and learning frameworks to foster the growth and development of the organization and stakeholders. As a resilience coach, she provides performance support at the point of need. She is devoted to incorporating diversity and inclusion in learning content and experience. In her board work, she brings this unique perspective to raise cultural awareness and inculcate these values in the organization.

Dr. Welch had organizational-wide, end-to-end, responsibility for the learning and development function, instructional services, and events and design management services focused on the learner experience.  Renee is a specialist in content curation and integration of learning technologies to create engaging academic and business solutions, and skilled in modernizing legacy processes. Known as a Learner eXperience Architect, she leverages 20 years of professional experience, and a doctorate in educational policy, organization, and leadership. She holds a master’s in education and a bachelor’s in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana –Champaign.

Sangeeta Vashishta

Sangeeta Vashishta is the co-founder and consultant at Spark of Lights and an accredited Resilience Coach. She is a highly qualified educator who has dedicated 20 years of her life educating and empowering young people globally. Sangeeta has been teaching and leading in Victorian state schools in Australia since the last 14 years. She has held different roles at state schools, including Literacy Leader, Sub School Leader and Head of the English Department. With 20 years of international teaching experience in India and Australia, Sangeeta has commenced her own educational and resilience consultancy.

Sangeeta’s love of learning and enthusiasm towards mastering new skills has been evident throughout her life. With a Masters in English, Bachelor in Psychology, Bachelor in Education, Leading Literacy from Bastow institute in Melbourne, Cert IV in Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Holmesglen, Training and Assessment from NMIT Melbourne, Sangeeta has further enhanced her field of expertise through studying a Psychology course from the University of Oxford, Positive Psychology: Martin E.P.Seligman’s Visionary Science course from the University of Pennsylvania and Resilience Coach Accreditation Training from The Resilience Institute, New Zealand.

Sangeeta highly values the Resilience Coach Accreditation Training and considers it a life changing experience.
