Manish is the Managing Partner with The Resilience Institute in South East Asia and is passionate about helping leaders build change capacity, resilience and resonance within organisations.

After successfully leading organisational change and development in Europe and Asia for 16 years with Fortune 500 companies, his aspirations to support individuals in challenged situations led him to pursue a career in training and coaching resilience. His strengths lie in developing change capacity, building resilient teams and inspiring leaders to action.

Now based in Singapore, Manish has trained thousands of corporate leaders in diverse organisations such as HSBC, Grab, Unilever, Danone, AXA, Nestle and Microsoft. He has spoken at various talent & engagement platforms in U.K, Singapore, Sri-Lanka, Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia.

Manish holds an MBA from Asian Institute of Management with additional post-graduate qualifications in Organisational Development from Heriot-Watt University, UK.  He is a Certified Change Management Practitioner, Certified Professional Facilitator (CPF) and Executive Coach (Ontological Coaching). He is also certified as NLP Master Practitioner and qualified in DiSC, Emotional Intelligence Trainer Certification and a member of the Asia Pacific Speakers (APSS) and International Association of Facilitators (IAF)

Manish is a UK citizen who grew up in India and is now a resident of Singapore. He is a strong believer of practices that help create momentum for growth and an avid meditation and yoga practitioner.

Sue Elias
Office Manager, South East Asia

Sue Elias is an Office Manager with The Resilience Institute. She has more than 20 years of experience in managing administrative & secretarial functions across diverse industries.

She began her career with the Republic of Singapore Air Force in Air Traffic Control, and subsequently gained corporate management expertise as an Office Administrator with a corporate branding company, an executive search firm and a training consultancy.

Sue brings with her a collaborative & dedicated work ethic, commitment to improving work processes and excellent interpersonal & communication skills.

Ashley Grandisch
Senior Consultant, Philippines

As an ICF credentialled Professional Coach PCC, Ashley has been working with leaders at different levels of the organizational hierarchy and high-potential employees in performance driven work environments since 2014. As a practitioner of mindfulness, yoga and meditation techniques, she brings with her a calming presence to the coaching conversation, blended with empathy and structure. This provides her clients a safe and open space to introspect and explore outside their comfort zones, to discover their deeper selves, and unfold their hidden talents and resourcefulness. Ashley helps her clients to align their learning with their high-level goals and forward-moving actions to elevate their performance and purpose.

She specializes in areas related to leadership development, building one’s mindfulness, resilience and EQ in the corporate environment, developing individual & team trust and building leadership coaching skills.

As a project manager in the IT sector, prior to her coaching career, Ashley has the capability to fully understand the complexities of technical processes, management of teams, budgets, project time-lines and working directly with clients in a variety of industries. She has knowledge of corporate culture, relationship dynamics and understanding systems. Her career spans the USA, various countries in Europe and Asia. She is a certified Solution Focused Coach Practitioner and a Coach Mentor certifying leaders to gain their coaching credentials with the Corporate Coach Academy. She incorporates mindfulness and uses her certification with the Himalayan International Institute of Yoga Science & Philosophy and it’s Yoga Teacher Training Program in her practical work, facilitating individuals and teams in their transformation in a holistic and authentic way. Leona Wan
Senior Consultant


Leona is a senior consultant with The Resilience Institute and a passionate coach and learning facilitator. Leona specializes in inspiring her clients to deliver their personal best. In her most recent appointments, she supported her clients to excel in their leadership competencies, uplifting engagement, positivity and team performance.

Leona draws from a corporate experience of 20+ years, including senior leadership roles in financial services and frontline operations. Leona followed her passion and left her corporate appointment in 2007 to be a full-time coach and facilitator. Since 2015, Leona has become a trainer and mentor for professional coaches. She has been delivering workshops for MNCs in Australia, Greater China, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Hong Kong.  Her industry experience includes Pharmaceutical, Banking, Insurance, Retail, Technology, Logistics, Public Utilities, Events Management and Property Management. 

Leona engages her clients with a warm and open style.  While she impresses her audience with her high energy during her engagement.  Being a part of The Resilience Institute, Leona’s recent initiative is to promote “Positive Relationships at Workplace”. Her interests also include promoting well-being and world peace.  Leona was a voluntary facilitator of the “Alternatives to Violence Project” Foundation, where she conducts workshops to promote interpersonal conflict resolution skills through a series of step-by-step processes. In 2017, she started a “Positive 100 Days” initiative with her colleagues to create ripple effects for world peace.

Thuy Le
Consultant - Vietnam

Thuy Le is a Consultant with The Resilience Institute in Vietnam, based in Ho Chi Minh. She has over 20 years experience in both front-line and back office business functions. Thuy began working first in sales, marketing and customer services before her HR career with AIA Insurance Company where she was in charge of staff training and development. She has held additional HR management and leadership roles as for ICI Paints, Japan Tobacco International and Lafarge Vietnam.

People development is Thuy’s passion. She always delivers high-impact training and coaching programs from functional HR to resilience, development and mindset topics supporting communication, personal effectiveness, transformation and change.

In 2016 she figured out her life purpose and began the journey of training and coaching people to get in touch with themselves and improve their quality of thoughts, work and life, and learn how to step out of the comfort zone, face their fears and continue to grow. Her ultimate mission is helping people live the life of purpose, abundance and happiness.

Shalini Matai
Senior Consultant - Indonesia

Shalini is deeply passionate about transformation and learning. Her mission is to facilitate the process of growth through transformation of Leaders, Culture and Systems and she aspires for a world that operates from the paradigm of ecological, collective and collaborative mindsets.

Shalini is a Senior Consultant with The Resilience Institute and since 2015 has served as an affiliate with Aberkyn, a McKinsey & Co. owned leadership development firm. Shalini Co-founded International Academy for Deep Transformation in Indonesia where her involvement included program design, development and mentoring as well as ICF accreditation. She Co-founded the ICF Chapter in Jakarta in 2011 and serves as a Trustee on its Board.  Her professional life began as a merchandising and marketing professional after completing an MBA and she worked as a financial analyst after successfully completing three years of CFA studies.

Shalini has worked as both a Facilitator of Transformation and Coach for over 15 years and has vast experience with Leadership and Culture transformation journeys and Coaching in diverse sectors. She is passionate about developing coaches and mentor-coaches.

Shalini is a certified Facilitator of Transformation with Gita Bellin & Associates and Corporate Evolution. She is certified in Culture Transformation Tools as well as in Ontological, Epistemological and Transformational Coaching. She has facilitated personal transformation journeys with Energy work, Mindfulness Practices and Somatic work since early 2000 and has practiced yoga for over 20 years.

Shalini was born in India and has lived in Indonesia for over 25 years with her husband Lalit. She is passionate about learning, yoga, reading and watching movies.

Marie-Liesse Calmejane
Senior Consultant

Marie-Liesse believes it is possible to experience more joy in the corporate world, and that building resilience is the foundation for a happier life.

After 17 years in corporate life and having experienced the power of effective coaching, she has decided to focus on helping people navigate their corporate environments in order to leverage their potential while fulfilling deeper aspirations.

As an Integral Coach, Marie-Liesse brings a holistic approach to help her clients overcome their challenges and make changes by integrating mind, heart and body. She develops personalised programs alongside her clients with an overall purpose and a set of measurable outcomes. She helps clients reach long-term excellence, which means that they become both self-correcting and self-generating. Beyond helping her clients in key areas such as communication, stakeholder influence and stress management, she believes the coaching relationship must inspire a sense of confidence, enthusiasm and excitement about the future in order for the journey to be successful. She works with leaders from Asia, Europe and the US across various industries.

Her facilitation style is full of positive energy and she can spark engagement and connection with participants so they can embrace resilience in ways that are actionable and sustainable.

Marie-Liesse started her career as a management consultant and then spent over 10 years in leadership positions at Danone in Paris and Hong Kong in the Corporate Communications and Marketing departments. While she enjoyed being exposed to multi-cultural teams, complex organisations and cultural transformations, she was also trying to find a balance as a mother of four boys.

She holds a Masters in Economics and Human Resources from Sciences Po Paris (France) and in European Studies from  Sussex University (UK). She is a certified Integral Coach from ICF accredited New Ventures West and is an associate of Emergenetics. Convinced by the Resilience model, she is walking the talk and finds flow through yoga and mindfulness as well as constantly growing through learning new concepts and practices (most recently in the field of Appreciative Inquiry).

Theophilus Wong
Senior Consultant, Malaysia

Theophilus Wong is based in Malaysia and is a multiple award-winning corporate leader including Excellence Emerging Entrepreneur Award from 15th Asia Pacific International Entrepreneurship Award in 2016, CEO of The Year Award from 25th Global HR Excellence Award in 2017 and Global Talent Management Leader of The Year from World HRD Congress in 2019.

Since 2006, Theophilus has designed and conducted over 600 training programs, trained over 100,000 people and work with more than 600 companies, majority are multi-national organizations. He also conducted training in Singapore, Manila, Jakarta and Bangkok, and spoken at conferences in Indonesia and India. Theophilus received his coaching certification in 2011 and has since coached over 400 leaders in leadership development programs and have accumulated over 1,000 coaching hours to date. He is currently a member of ICF Global and ATD USA. He is also the co-founder of HR Forum in collaboration with Monash University Malaysia Business School in 2017-2019.

One of Theo’s expertise is in administering and providing leadership insights and growth through various leadership assessments. Besides being a Senior Consultant with Resilience Institute, Theophilus is also Master Trainers for DISC Personality System Certification from Peoplekeys USA, Workplace Big Five Profile Certification from Paradigm Personality Labs USA, EQ-i 2.0 Certification from Multi-Health System Canada, and Talent Management Professional from Institute of Leadership & Management, UK.  Theophilus is currently pursuing his PhD in Management.He is very passionate about people development. Dr Rinkoo Ghosh
Senior Consultant

Rinkoo is a facilitator and coach on building resilience, emotional agility and empathy. She is passionate about supporting individuals and leaders in organisations to optimise stress and achieve performance.

Rinkoo has been working for the Singapore Public Service for the past 26 years as a Principal Consultant and Learning Specialist. She offers varied learning interventions and solutions for public sector agencies (ministries & statutory boards) as well as for social sector and private sector. She has trained 2000 public sector staff/senior managers (both local and international) such as HDB, AIC, SLA, MOM, MSF, MHA(Home Team Academy), JTC, NUS, Sentosa Development Corporation and many others. She has also conducted learning and performance consulting projects for Ghana, Macau, Mauritius and Thailand. Rinkoo has delivered Resilience and Empathy keynotes for public sector agencies as part of their career milestone programmes and Learning Festivals.

Rinkoo is accredited in the field of Learning Organisation & Change Management and holds a Graduate Diploma in Learning & Development with the Civil Service College. She is also a Specialist Adult Educator(SAE) with the Institute for Adult Learning (IAL-SUSS), a Certified EQ Trainer and versed in Non-Violent Communication.

Rinkoo holds a Doctorate in Business Administration(DBA) from New South Wales, Australia. She also holds a Bachelor/Master of Communications from Australia.

Rinkoo was born in India and has lived in Singapore for over 35 years. She is a citizen of Singapore. She believes in social work and in helping others to live a graceful life. She has been the sole caregiver to her parents and serves in voluntary organisations such as the Sree Narayana Mission and Caregiver Alliance, Singapore.

Samuel Kurian
Senior Consultant, Malaysia

Samuel is a Senior Consultant with Resilience Institute based in Malaysia and has a passion for Leadership Wellbeing and Trust.

He is ICF Global Professional Certified Coach (ICF-PCC) since 2016 is a seasoned  C-Suite Leadership Coach with 10 years experience as a CBT Trained Counsellor with an NGO. A leader in coaching CEO’s and senior executives of international companies during times of change and strategy shifts, he combines organisational and executive coaching specialties, senior executive alignment, innovation, and change leadership, as well as strategic direction for building high-performance teams.

Sam has close to 30 years in Banking, FMCG, Hospitality in Business Operations, HR, OD, Consulting and Executive Coaching track record; an adjunct faculty coach at ICLIF Leadership & Governance Centre and is certified in several assessments and psychometric tools. He is also a Reina Trust Building® ​ and Six Seconds EQ Certified Practitioner. He brings with him over a decade of facilitation, coaching, and consulting experience and has touched the lives of hundreds from diverse industries across the region in his work as executive coach & program facilitator.
