Dr Sven Hansen

Dr Sven Hansen is the founder of The Resilience Institute. From a medical family, Sven joined Pathfinders, a special forces team in South Africa, before completing medicine.  His passion for sport and flow took him into sports medicine and a personal practice in resilience.

Asking if organisations might be interested in applying sports science to good business and leadership, Sven began a corporate health business in 1988. He completed his MBA in 1993 and set about building an evidence-based, integral and practical solution to sustainable performance in life, sport and business.

Over 20 years Sven has worked extensively with High Performance Sport, professional firms, banks, corporates, government, entrepreneurship, universities, and schools.  He leads the development of The Resilience Institute’s methodology and is an experienced executive coach, keynote speaker and leadership trainer.

He has a specific interest in developing leadership teams and the application of biological principles to leadership, strategy and resilience in the community. Sven lives in Auckland with Susan and their two children. He is a keen surfer, paddler and kitesurfer.

Brad is CEO of the Resilience Institute.

He has worked internationally in technology, growth and innovation, with a focus on human development.

Njabulo B Sithole
Partner, South Africa

Njabulo is the founder and Chief Executive of “The Resilience Institute South Africa” (RISA). Her role includes overall business strategy, market focus, gaining and sustaining a competitive advantage within the environment which the business operates. She also has over 20 years’ experience as the CEO of Omame Investments (Pty) Ltd. During her tenure the company has created a diversified portfolio of Investments, spanning from infrastructure projects through Public Private Partnership ( PPP’s) in Facilities Management to Pharmaceuticals, Aluminium Processing, Mining, Food Processing to name a few. Prior to that she worked as a consulting Psychologist for various government departments in Performance Management Systems, Employee Assistance Programs and Human Resource Planning.

She obtained her MSC Executive Global Masters in Management from the London School of Economics (LSE) and Masters in Ed. Psychology from University of KwaZulu Natal. In addition she has a Diploma in Company Direction and Diploma in Management Accounting and Finance.

Growing up her parents instilled love, respect and hard work within the family, often giving her responsibilities at a young age this has created a strong foundation for a resilient mindset. Stuart Taylor
Managing Partner, Australia

In 2002, while climbing the ladder to corporate executive, Stuart was diagnosed with Brain Cancer; prognosis 2.5 years. Far from accept the prognosis; Stuart embarked on a journey back to physical, emotional, cognitive and spiritual health. Part of this journey included creating The Resilience Institute in Australia to share his experience and philosophy with Australian organisations. Stuart has recently celebrated his 10 year milestone and is going from strength to strength. Peta Sigley
Chief Knowledge Officer, Australia

Peta Sigley is a Principal with The Resilience Institute in Australia. Alexia Michiels

Based in Switzerland, originally from Belgium, Alexia is co-founder of the Resilience Institute Europe.

Thierry Moschetti
Partner, UK

Thierry established The Resilience Institute in Southeast Asia and in the UK. He has twenty years of team management, business development and training experience in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia where he has been living since 2004. Before embarking on the journey with The Resilience institute, he was Regional General Manager Greater China for a British listed organization in the service industry.

Thierry holds a Master of Science in Management, he is a certified ACTA trainer & assessor (Singapore Workforce Development Agency), a certified trainer in Emotional Intelligence and in Qigong, an ancient Chinese practice that combines gentle body movements with awareness and breathing for energy and relaxation.

Jeremy Kannemeyer

Jeremy is a highly successful senior business leader with particular strengths in strategic planning, business development and change management.  His background includes general management roles within a number of New Zealand based multinational healthcare companies, business leadership of an Asia-Pacific global information services and publishing company and more recently as a business consultant to health analytics companies in USA, Germany and Asia.

Bruce Robinson
Partner, China

Bruce leads The Resilience Institute in Shanghai overseeing the development of our training programs in Greater China. Prior to that, he was the Chief Representative of the Shanghai Representative Office and a Managing Director for Avenue Capital Group, a New York based private equity firm. He has over twenty-five years of investment, banking and business management experience in the Americas and Asia, where he has lived since 2005. Bruce specializes in organizational and individual transitions and managing diverse teams. He has led the establishment of new offices, as well as managed acquisitions and restructurings. Bruce holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and is an executive coach. Recent client assignments include multinational companies as well as educational institutions.

Bruce grew up in northern California, graduated from the University of California Berkeley, is an active runner and a vegetarian. Laurent Levisalles

Based in France, Laurent is co-founder of the Resilience Institute Europe.
For 20 years Laurent held several positions as managing director in the retail industry in the US, Europe and China for start-ups and global companies. Following his strong appeal for Human Sciences, he spent much of his energy on people development and management.

Myriam Kleinmann

Myriam is a lawyer by trade (Master’s of Law of the University of Auckland and of the University of Paris-La Sorbonne). Originally from France, Myriam has been living in New Zealand since 2008, and went from law to business management and strategy. Katrien Audenaert

Based in Belgium, Katrien joined the Resilience Institute after having lived several years in Shanghai and Hong Kong.

After 15 years of experience in the legal field (first as a legal advisor to the Belgian Prime Minister Dehaene and later as a Magistrate in the Belgian Constitutional Court), Katrien decided to make a career shift as an executive coach when she moved to Asia. Declan Scott

Declan joined the Resilience team in 2015 and brings practical experience from both the professional practice field across a number of countries to hands on business knowledge in owning and growing a business from Startup stage. Randall Zindler

Based in Lausanne, Randall is originally from the United States.
After working several years in disaster management, Randall worked in marketing with the Credit Suisse Group, and in leadership development with the Swissair Group. Madeleine Shaw

Jennifer Young

Paul Salmon
Senior Manager, Australia

Paul has a distinguished background in leadership in education, with extensive experience in management, program design, staff development, and both teacher training and student facilitation. He has diverse talents, being able to move almost effortlessly between management and operational logistics through to running outdoor challenge experiences, giving lectures or facilitating keynote presentations.

Having spent almost three decades designing and leading programs on school camps, retreats and leadership development pathways, Paul has seen first-hand the positive impact that can emerge from eye-opening encounters and the noticeable difference in outcomes for those who continuously self-reflect and adjust for growth. Sharon Griffin

Before joining Springfox Sharon spent over two decades at a leading global professional services firm where she held senior HR roles across the US, UK, Australia and Southeast Asia. Across a number of businesses Sharon developed strategies and programmes, and advised senior leaders and their teams in the following areas: performance and reward, diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, policies, talent acquisition and management, global mobility, acquisitions and post-merger integration.

Sharon’s belief in the fundamental pillars of resilience come from a deeply personal place that she shares openly with her clients and colleagues. Marleen Weening

Originally from the Netherlands, Marleen is now based in Basel, Switzerland.

Marleen holds a degree in Economics/International Business. After years in recruitment and marketing, she decided to live and work internationally. Spending almost two decades in the UK, USA, Japan and the Czech Republic, she now decided to live and work in Basel.

Marleen studied the fields of neuroplasticity, positive psychology, Neuro Linguistic Programming, Mindfulness and Emotional Intelligence for years and holds certificates in Coaching and Training. She is also certified to coach with the neurofeedback technology of HeartMath.

After working for almost thirty years for the Dutch police and the Public Prosecution, in different managerial positions and organizational development programs, René followed his heart and made a career switch and started his own company, with a strong focus on human science & development, organizational development and leadership.

René holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management.

He is a certified executive (team) coach and a certified trainer in Realdrives, which can measure and gives an insight in the motivations of individuals and teams.

Maud Van Enkhuizen
Consultant, The Netherlands

With a background in criminology and psychology, Maud has 10 years’ experience working in the field of human motivation and development.

As a consultant, she has lead workshops on communication and change for both commercial and non-profit organisations. She also coaches young professionals to master stress and build resilience in challenging times and environments.

Maud is currently a yoga teacher. A “corporate yogi” herself, she is passionate about both mental and physical empowerment as a basis for delivering sustainable performance. Her approach brings a strong focus on action and practical implementation combined with awareness practices. She is certified to use the behavioural assessment tool DISC.

Daniela Thomas
Consultant - Executive Coach - Switzerland

Originally from Germany, Daniela is now based in Zurich, Switzerland.

With a degree in business administration, Daniela worked 15 years in human resources (mainly Talent Management) in Munich and Zurich before she started her own business in 2014.

“Building a revolutionary new & resilient working world” is her mission and passion.

She supports organizations, teams and individuals on their journey and enjoys her work as an executive coach, speaker, facilitator & enabler.

Benoit Greindl
Strategic Advisor - Europe

Based in Switzerland, originally from Belgium, Benoit is an entrepreneur.

He spent 25 years of his business life developing commercial real estate services companies in Europe, America and Asia where he lived during 5 years.

Convinced that entrepreneurship is a core source of innovation and societal wealth creation, Benoit is today involved in meaningful and socially responsible projects.

He is the co-founder and CEO of Montagne Alternative, an inspiring seminar centre in the Swiss Alps, co-founder of The Resilience Institute Europe and president of the Board of B Corp Switzerland.

As a strategic advisor, Benoit accompanies different leaders and organizations to progress towards achieving a compelling vision and impact.

Anna Cordier
Consultant - Executive Coach, France

Based in Paris, Anna is originally from England.

Anna has enjoyed a long tenor, straight line career in Paris with a major US bank covering several relationship management roles and finally as Managing Director for Financial Institutions, business manager and team leader.

Anna decided to make a career shift and qualify as an executive coach to pursue her passion for human development, including accompanying those seeking career and personal transformation, helping them to achieve their goal for a meaningful and fulfilling life.

Pauline Soares
Administrative Support - Europe

Based in France, Pauline joined the Resilience Institute Europe in 2018 as back office support.

Holding a Bachelor Degree in Hospitality Management from Paris-Dauphine University Pauline spent 10 years in luxury hotels management. She then decided to shift her career to adjust her family life. She now provides administrative support with a customer care service background.

Willing to follow the digital evolution of our world, she is also taking a course to become Digital Project Manager.

Concerned about the world we borrow from our children, she is engaged in a zero-waste process focusing on what really matters.

Pauline speaks French, English and Portuguese.

Dominique Berdoz
Consultant, Switzerland

Originally from Germany, Dominique lives and works in Lausanne, Switzerland.

A graduate nurse, she studied psychology and has a Master’s degree in psychosociology. Dominique then works in the promotion and prevention of health in business. She also teaches at the Haute Ecole de Santé in Fribourg.

Very interested in the different ways of stimulating people’s resources, she got a postgraduate degree in positive psychology at the University of Zurich. This leads Dominique to share her expertise within many corporate environments.

Anne Dufour
Business Manager - Europe

Anne started her career in the children’s wear industry by managing the subsidiary of a major French brand in the United States. She was then Retail Manager for an English luxury brand.

To accompany her family abroad, she put her corporate career on hold and became teacher, while volunteering for different associations.

Back in France, she got involved from the start with the creation of the Resilience Institute Europe. She’s in charge of the back office as well as the front office where she brings rigor, professionalism and generosity. She is also in charge of special projects.

Her leitmotiv: offer the best possible experience to the participants, clients, consultants and partners.

Elodie Asselin
Consultant, France

Based in Paris, Elodie has lived and worked in London, Hong Kong, Singapore. After 15 years of experience in Strategy, Management consulting and financial communication in the financial sector, Elodie decided to follow her passion for human development and retrained as an executive coach and emotional intelligence instructor.

Elodie holds a diploma in International Relations at Sciences Po Paris and degrees in Psychology, Classical Studies and Philosophy.

She is a certified executive coach, a qualified Mindfulness and is certified to use Myers-Briggs Type indicator (MBTI®) as well as other personality test and psychometric instruments (Emotional intelligence – EQ I, EQ360 ;  Hogan, Hogan 360 ;  Strong Interest Inventory..).

Julie Zhang
Senior Consultant, China

Julie is a Senior Consultant with the Resilience Institute in Shanghai.  She is an experienced learning and development leader, an accredited executive coach and a certified Project Manager and Change Agent. Most recently she was with Allianz corporation where she held leadership positions responsible for operational excellence, strategy and IT. She also has worked for professional consulting firms such as EDS/A.T. Kearney, PwC Consulting and IBM.  Recent client assignments include Chinese companies and Multi-national Corporations. She received her Bachelors of Arts from Shanghai University in International Business and her MBA from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS).  She speaks fluent English, and is a native Chinese (Mandarin) speaker.
